HOUSTON O.R.
PROJECT DIRECTIVE
This project involved the phased renovation of three operating rooms at a major hospital in Houston, with the goal of modernizing surgical environments while maintaining uninterrupted access to critical facilities. The directive prioritized patient safety, sterile conditions, and operational continuity throughout construction. By executing the renovation in carefully planned stages, the hospital was able to keep a portion of the surgical suite functional at all times, allowing procedures to continue with minimal disruption. Coordination between the design team, hospital leadership, infection control, and construction personnel was key to maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and ensuring the project advanced smoothly and efficiently.
DELIVERY
The three-operating-room renovation was successfully completed in strategic phases, enabling the hospital to maintain surgical operations throughout the project. Each phase was delivered on time and within budget, adhering to all regulatory standards and hospital protocols. The upgraded ORs now offer improved functionality, modern equipment integration, and a cleaner, more efficient working environment. The phased approach proved highly effective, minimizing downtime and disruption while enhancing the hospital’s overall surgical capacity. The result is a modernized, high-performing surgical suite that meets the needs of both patients and clinical staff.
